Wagon Bomb — v0.2
developing seed revision
A mischievous one-way ambush kid towing one enormous balloon, hiding Wight-like in bubbles, and choosing when to burst it with a thumbtack.
Legend
The wagon rolls out of the bubbles, the thumbtack flashes, and everybody realizes one second too late that soaking this kid is exactly what sets it off.
Suburb
Dense bubbles provide special Wight-like concealment with a readable tell. Detonation clears the cloud and leaves fresh slip terrain. Ordinary cloud soak prevents indefinite hiding.
Current draft
A mischievous kid tows one enormous balloon on a certain-soak, one-way mission. A visible thumbtack allows self-detonation; an attack may also trigger the burst. Reaching a clustered group rewards the ambush.
Why this possibility exists
The Wight analogy makes the role clearer than “kid with wagon”: a slow, committed ambusher whose own attack guarantees the end of the run.
Still unresolved
- The deep-cloud tell and exact attack-trigger timing.
- Whether opponents can deliberately detonate the balloon safely at range.
- Blast radius, soak, friendly effects, and whether the wagon ever reloads.
Featured question
What readable tell preserves the Wagon Bomb's ambush while it hides deep inside a bubble cloud?
