Slingshot Crew — v0.2
developing seed revision
The three-kid launcher remains a live heavy-artillery concept, now explicitly competing with Wheelchair Catapult rather than silently winning the role.
Legend
The launcher is powerful because three kids agree long enough to make it work.
Suburb
This direction preserves awkward repositioning, arguments, and teammate cost. The Wheelchair Catapult offers a cleaner single-character silhouette instead.
Current draft
Slingshot Crew remains three kids operating an enormous long-range balloon launcher. It now shares the heavy-artillery concept group with Wheelchair Catapult; neither idea is selected.
Why this possibility exists
Keeping both concepts visible preserves the creative choice: social comedy and negotiated cost versus robotics identity and simpler unit accounting.
Still unresolved
- Which concept survives unaided recall and roster-pressure tests.
- Whether three crew members count as one roster slot or several.
- Minimum range, repositioning, and degradation when crew members peel away.
Featured question
Does heavy artillery benefit more from the crew's negotiated social cost or the robotics kid's single-character clarity?
